Singapuras from Usaf Cattery

| Singapura Breed Profile Appearance: The singapura is a small to medium muscular cat that some people think looks like a miniture cougar. Coloring is dark brown ticking on a golden old ivory ground color giving a kind of beige effect. The chin and down the tummy should be about the color of unbleached muslin. There may or may not be a darker brown spine line on the body but there should definitely be a dark brown line down the tail. Eyes and ears are noticeably large and feet noticeably small. The hair is short and silky to the touch. and should be very close lying to the body. Personality: This is a very interactive cat. It has to examine everything. including your face and what you had to eat your last meal. IF you want a cat that stays off the kitchen counter and keeps four feet on the floor, you do not want a Singapura. They are very adaptable and playful even as adults. They do not require large spaces but they do require loving and companionship from their people. Reason for selling a purebred as a pet:--- Cosmetically moshaps such as a kink in the tail, a skull that's flat vs. rounded, a muzzle that is too long, heavy barring on the outer front leg which should have barring only on inside and clear on the outside. Occasionly there is a recovered health problem that will not affect the life of the cat but one that the breeder does not want in a breeding program.
